Sandra · Africa
Send large files across Africa, even on unstable networks.
Sandra is built for the connectivity reality of African creators, agencies, and businesses: resumable chunked uploads that survive network drops, mobile-friendly download pages, no recipient account, and a one-tap end-to-end encryption toggle on every transfer, including Free. Plus an encrypted Vault to store and share your projects long-term.
Why Sandra works in Africa
Resumable on flaky networks
Lost the connection mid-upload? Sandra picks up exactly where it left off, with no need to restart a 1 GB transfer because of a 30-second outage. Designed for the realities of low-bandwidth and unstable mobile data.
Mobile-first download pages
Recipients open the link on any phone: Android, iPhone, even older devices. No app install, no recipient account, no friction. Pages are lightweight and load fast on 3G.
TLS 1.3 + AES-256 by default
Every transfer is protected by TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest, no plan upgrade required. Sensitive content gets one extra tap: AES-256-GCM end-to-end encryption in the browser.
Encrypted Vault storage
Beyond transfers, Sandra Vault is your private encrypted storage: AES-256 at rest, RLS-isolated per user. 500 GB on Pro, 2 TB on Business. Keep finished projects, contracts, and creative archives safely accessible.
GDPR + privacy by default
EU-hosted, GDPR-compliant infrastructure with on-demand data deletion. We do not scan files, train AIs on your content, or sell data. Ever.
No recipient account
Your client, supplier, or family member opens the link in any browser and downloads. No signup wall, no email harvesting, no marketing follow-up.
Built for the way Africa works
Photographers in Lagos, Nairobi, Cape Town
Deliver wedding shoots, fashion campaigns, and event coverage to clients across the continent. Use the Vault for portfolio archives that you can share via gallery links any time.
Music + video producers across the diaspora
Move stems, masters, and music videos between collaborators in different cities or countries. Resumable uploads survive intermittent fiber.
Film + documentary crews
Send rushes from remote shoots back to editors in the studio. Cellular hotspot? Resumable upload survives it. Vault stores the masters between phases.
Agencies + freelancers serving global clients
Deliver brand assets, design files, and final cuts to clients in Europe, North America, and Asia. EU-hosted infrastructure means strong throughput on intercontinental transfers.
NGOs + journalists handling sensitive material
Toggle E2EE on the transfer form for source-protected confidentiality. The decryption key lives only in the URL fragment, so neither Sandra nor anyone intercepting traffic can read the content.
FAQ
Will my upload survive a network drop?
Yes. Chunked resumable uploads (TUS protocol) automatically retry on disconnection and resume from the last completed chunk. Whether you are on 4G that fades or fiber that flickers, the transfer continues when the connection returns.
How fast is Sandra from Africa?
Latency to our EU infrastructure: ~120-180ms from West Africa, 100-150ms from North Africa, 180-220ms from East and Southern Africa. Throughput depends on your local fiber/4G, but Sandra saturates whatever bandwidth you have through chunked parallel uploads.
Do my recipients need an account?
No. Anyone with the link downloads in any browser. No app, no signup, no email harvesting.
Is mobile data going to drain on big transfers?
Sandra does not double-upload chunks unnecessarily. The resumable protocol means you only pay for what actually got transmitted. Recipients pay normal download cost; if they are on 4G, encourage them to download on Wi-Fi.
Is encryption available on Free?
Yes. The AES-256-GCM end-to-end encryption toggle is available on every plan, including Free. Just tap it before sending.
Can I keep files long-term?
Transfer files expire (up to 365 days or permanent on Pro+). For long-term archive, use Sandra Vault, your private encrypted storage. 500 GB on Pro, 2 TB on Business.
